American Airlines has been flying to Ireland since 2003 and currently operates up to four flights a day between Dublin and Chicago O’Hare (ORD), New York (JFK) Philadelphia and Charlotte, as well as a seasonal service from Shannon (SNN) to Philadelphia
2018 see’s the launch of Premium Economy on DUB-PHL (15 January) and DUB-CLT (4 May). Both routes are operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft and feature 21 Premium Economy seats.

British Airways provides excellent connectivity for customers travelling from both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland to the airline’s extensive global network of over 140 destinations worldwide from London Heathrow, including new destinations such as Nashville. Passengers can choose from up to five flights a day from Belfast City Airport and up to eight flights a day from Dublin Airport to London Heathrow with a wide range of departure times to meet the needs of all customers – whether they are travelling for business or pleasure.
All flights from both airports arrive into Terminal 5, British Airways’ flagship Heathrow home. As a result, customers benefit from smoother and quicker connections through the airport to onward British Airways flights or have quick and easy access to frequent and fast Heathrow Express services direct to London. British Airways’ customers can also travel to London City Airport, with up to seven flights a day from Dublin Airport.
