AWTE Ireland hosts full house for first development session

The Irish Chapter of the Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) today, Friday 30th June, held their first development session in the Hilton Hotel, Dublin Airport.

Kindly sponsored by Riviera Travel, the event, titled “Creating the life you want”, was a sell-out, with over 30 women in attendance from all walks of the travel industry.

Following a light breakfast and some networking, attendees took their seats to hear from speaker Amanda Wallace – a qualified business coach, trainer & keynote speaker. Amanda touched on the three principles of success – which included using affirmations and meditation as tools to reach your goals.

Today’s event wrapped up with an update from AWTE Ireland which included details on upcoming events and a reminder on the benefits of membership. Attendees were also told that the brand new AWTE Ireland website is now live at www.awte.ie.

Clare Dunne, AWTE Ireland Trustee, said of today’s event, I am absolutely delighted with the response we received from our members for today’s AWTE Ireland development session. Our mission is to offer practical assistance to our members to become even more successful in our careers and our personal lives through networking, seminars and hand-on sessions and today’s event certainly fit the bill. We made new contacts, gained some very valuable insights, enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had a great time too – and all by 10.00am!”
