Clare Dunne – Trustee
Clare began her travel career with Aer Lingus in 1979 and since then has experienced many aspects of the travel business. She established her own independent travel company The Travel Broker in 1994, providing corporate, leisure and incentive travel services to a wide range of customers, in Ireland and abroad, offline and online. She has also developed and taught several ‘What Do Travel Agents Do’ introductory courses for job seekers.
Clare has served as President of Network Ireland both in Dublin and Nationally. She served as President of ITAA from 2012-2014. Clare is currently a member of the board of ITAA, on the committee of Clontarf Business Association and on the Advisory Board of Travel Centres. She is also an active member of Dublin Chamber of Commerce and North Dublin Business Network.
Lorraine Quinn – Trustee and Finance
Lorraine Quinn has over 20 years’ experience within in the Travel Industry. Lorraine commenced her career with Cityjet the Irish owned airline working in several departments such as Reservations, Groups and Sales, she then moved to start up Royal Caribbean International in Ireland and Northern Ireland in 1999.
Lorraine spearheaded the growth of the cruise industry in Ireland and gained extensive experience in Marketing, PR, event management, project management along with the key role of sales development. Lorraine was chosen to participate in the Leadership academy within the RCL Group and has developed her portfolio within the organisation.
Lorraine is currently Head of Sales in Ireland for the Celebrity Cruises brand within RCL Cruises Ltd. Lorraine has held many voluntary roles in the travel industry such Chairperson of the Visit USA committee and a founder member of the Travel Trade Charity Fun Day.
In 2016, she was also nominated for for a Business Women of the year award from the women’s Network Dublin association. Lorraine is passionate about self-development personally and professionally.
Niamh Waters – Communications
Niamh Waters has been with TravelMedia.ie and TravelTradeRepresentation.com for 8 years and is a Senior Account Manager.
Before joining TravelMedia.ie she was Head of PR and Marketing at the flagship department store Clerys, in the centre of Dublin and prior to that a Communications Executive at Tallaght Hospital, where she specialised in crisis communications.
As well as traditional PR and event management, Niamh specialises in all things digital and social. On a day-to-day basis Niamh manages social media content creation, distribution and advertising for a number of worldwide travel brands and companies.
In addition to meeting the digital marketing needs of her clients, Niamh also speaks at conferences on the topic of social media and provides training for travel agencies in Ireland and the UK.
Yvonne Muldoon – Secretary
Yvonne Muldoon has over 20 years’ experience within the Aviation Industry. Yvonne commenced her career with Aer Lingus working in several departments such Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management.
After 7 years she moved to Continental Airlines as Corporate Sales Manager Ireland and within 2 years took over as Country Manager Ireland & Northern Ireland. Yvonne spearheaded the seamless delivery of the Continental/United merger and led the Atlantic Joint Venture in Ireland.
Yvonne was head hunted to join the leading Car Rental Aggregator, Car Trawler where she was Head of Business Development for Transport. In 2016 Yvonne re-joined Aer Lingus as Director of Sales -Europe.
Fiona Foster – Events
Fiona has worked in the Irish travel industry for more than 35 years. Currently Area Manager with Cassidy Travel – one of Ireland’s leading travel agents. Prior to this, Fiona held the role of Head of Operations at Innstant Travel.
Fiona also held a number of key roles in the Irish Travel Industry and is a member of the Irish Travel Fun Day Charity Committee.
Fiona’s personal philosophy is ‘If you dream it, you can do it’. Her greatest pleasure is to see individuals and teams flourish and reach their personal goals. Fiona is looking forward to sharing experiences with AWTE members and meeting like-minded women looking personal and professional development.
Maura Moloney – Events
Maura is an experienced Brand Executive with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation industry for the last 29 years. Skilled in negotiation with a Degree in IR/HR from NCI, Maura is a strong business development professional with a MBA focused in Retail Management from The University of Stirling. Currently, Maura manages the Airport Club, Corporate Sales and Travel Agents Relationships in Dublin Airport.
In addition to the above, Maura is also responsible for the development and management of the Dublin Airport Club scheme, delivering a customer focused product for use through Dublin.
Maura’s experience in different departments of Dublin Airport means she has a wide breadth of skills and an appetite to develop and learn.
Dympna Crowley – Munster Representative
Dympna Crowley has over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, having previously worked for Mary Murphy Travel and managed Budget Travelshop in Cork.
Dympna is currently the Branch Manager of Lee Travel in Ballincollig and is our eyes and ears on the ground when it comes to the Munster region.
In addition to managing our Munster events, Dympna is responsible for our membership growth in Cork and surrounding areas.
Martina Coogan – Projects and Partnerships Manager
Martina has over 20 years’ experience working in the Travel Industry in sales and partnership roles and has worked in Sunway Travel, Aer Lingus, Air France KLM and Travelport.
In her current role as Country Sales Manager for United Airlines Ireland and Northern Ireland. She is responsible for meeting and ideally exceeding revenue targets and building relationships with Irish based Travel trade partners and companies such as Salesforce, Facebook and Google.
Before joining United Airlines in 2017 Martina worked in Travelport Digital as a Senior Regional Account and Project manager helping travel brands and airlines grow their revenue and drive engagement through mobile channels.
Throughout her 20-year career Martina’s roles have always been in either Travel or Travel Technology.
Theresa Murphy – Events
Teresa Murphy has over 30 years’ experience in the Aviation Industry. Her interest in travel started prior to joining Air France, having lived for a time in France followed by a four month overland trip through Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
She began her career with Air France in the Finance Department in London. She then went on to join the team in Heathrow Airport gaining experience in all aspects of passenger handling before transferring to Dublin Airport as Air France Station Co-Ordinator.
From there Teresa moved into sales and her current role is Leisure Account Manager for Air France KLM and Delta Air Lines, using her extensive knowledge and experience to secure and increase Air France KLM and Alliance partners’ revenue and market share.
She works with a portfolio of Trade Partners, including Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Airports and Tourist Boards. Teresa is always open to self-development and utilises passion, energy, communication skills and creativity on a daily basis to help her to reach her professional and personal goals.
